Description
Our wonderful teacher Melanie will be sharing her love of Luna Lapin & friends on this Wednesday morning sewing club where you’ll learn how to sew up a new animal each half term. Melanie will guide you through each unique animal, helping you with all the tricky bits, whilst you enjoy a natter with fellow sewists and a cuppa and biscuit in our beautiful fully-equipped sewing studio. We’ll also provide you with the full kit from Cool Crafting to sew up your animal so you don’t need to bring anything other than yourself!
This is the perfect class if you want to get back into sewing and need a little guidance, if you’ve been to some of our other courses and enjoy learning in the weekly format and if you want some help working with smaller, trickier pattern pieces. We’ll be working on a different animal each half term, starting with Wilhelmina Woodmouse in November 2023 and Luna Lapin herself in January.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
The class includes expert instruction, use of our Janome sewing machines, all tools, threads and a kit containing your pattern and quality felt to sew up your animal.
YOU NEED TO BRING
Nothing, everything is included! If you’re a speedy sewist and get as far as making clothes for your animal, you will need to provide fabric for this, although we do have lots of small scraps in the studio you’re welcome to use.
