Ideal for kids who want to learn to sew or already love sewing, we’ll be making a different project each session, so children are welcome for one session or multiple.
If they’ve already attended one of our classes previously they can add more details to their projects and learn new techniques. There’ll also be more advanced practice pieces for those who’ve attended before.
Classes are 10am – 12.30pm each day and all materials are included.
Monday 12th February 2024 – Tote Bags
Enjoy sewing a reversible tote bag, perfect for holding all those Summer holiday essentials!
Tuesday 13th February 2024 – Cushions
Students will have lots of fun sewing up a cushion cover from a choice of fun fabrics.
Wednesday 14th February 2024 – Cross body Zippered Bags
Students will choose from a range of waterproof fabrics and sew up a beautiful pouch, mastering zips at the same time!
Thursday 15th February 2024 – Monsters or Bears
Students will have lots of fun sewing up their own, super cute felt Monster or Bear and stuffing it!
Classes are aimed at children 8 – 12 years old (please note, for insurance purposes, children MUST be aged 8 and above. Children over 12 are very welcome to come along if they want to), and we focus on making sewing accessible, safe and enjoyable! The children are supervised at all times and our sewing machines are all speed controlled so they can take things nice and slowly and any pressing is done by the tutor.
We are very happy for you to leave your children whilst the class is taking place (you will need to complete a Supervision Form upon arrival), but do politely request children are collected promptly at the end of the class.
Our sewing classes are relaxed and friendly, taking place at our beautiful studio at Holme Grange Craft Village in Wokingham, Berkshire.
Our classes are non-refundable so please make sure you’ve checked your diary carefully and read our Class FAQs before booking. These also cover lots of other questions so please do read them!
